Dear Friends in Christ,
I prayerfully invite you to be part of Faith In Our Future, our campaign for Catholic education and faith formation.
Education is so central to our calling as Catholics and our life in Christ. At the age of 12, Jesus was already in the temple, learning and asking questions. During His ministry He was called Rabbi, which means teacher. At His ascension He commanded His followers to "go and teach."
Following Jesus' example, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee carries on a remarkable mission of education. It starts with every one of our 211 parishes, where 50,000 youth attend parish-based religious education programs. It includes 134 archdiocesan Catholic grade and high schools educating more than 34,000 students. Beyond educating Catholic students, Catholic schools open their doors to all who seek the benefit of a quality education. And, our schools strengthen the broader community by producing future leaders equipped not only spiritually, academically and socially, but also possessing the values, morals and ethics necessary for effective leadership.
Our seminary is forming 34 young men for the priesthood, and many adults are training for the diaconate and lay ministry. All 700,000 Catholics in southeastern Wisconsin have ongoing opportunities for faith formation.
We need significant financial resources to expand and enhance this mission. Catholic education and faith formation provides a solid foundation for youth, adults and families in today's world. Please join me in supporting and strengthening these ministries as we show Faith In Our Future!
Faithfully in Christ,

Most Reverend Timothy M. Dolan
Archbishop of Milwaukee
